If you're one of the lucky people that attended the Australian Wooden Boat Festival in Hobart over the weekend, then you may have seen the SAVE HDML 1321 posters or been offered one of the 6000 flyers. Lots of smiling faces showed up showing support to save the historic ship.
Without the volunteers who very generously gave of their time and effort we would not have been able to reach the visitors of this year's Wooden Boat Festival.
We would like to extend our gratitude to everyone at the event who assisted in spreading the word about our efforts to save an important part of Navy and Military history.
Thank you so much for your help!
Raising awareness to Save HDML 1321 is one of the biggest ways to help us succeed in our mission.

A special thank you to Tom "Tugboat" Hughes, owner of the historic wooden boat the "Lyndenne".
Tom served on board HMAS Rushcutter.
Should you wish to use posters or handouts at your own event, shop window, or neighbourhood to help raise awareness regarding HDML 1321, they will be made available to download soon. In the meantime, please contact us and an updated poster that more accurately reflects the intentions of the Save Motor Launch 1321 Inc. to 'stabilise and preserve' the vessel, rather then 'restore' as worded in the above poster.
Thank you for your support.
Looks like a great event and I wish I could have been there. Thank you to everyone who donated their time and work!
