HDML 1321 Out of Jeopardy

HDML 1321 / MV Rushcutter

WE'VE DONE IT!!! HDML 1321's future is looking brighter thanks to Paspaley Pearling Company.

Paspaley very generously offered to house the vessel throughout her restoration and have requested plans so as they can construct a cradle to support her on a hard stand.

1321 plans

Purdon & Featherstone who built HDML 1321 still have the original plans for her and should be of great help in respect to the cradle as well as the restoration.

The Paspaley Group is an Australian family-owned and run company with a heritage of over 80 years and three generations.

Once in position at Parspaley, Stage 2 will be complete and Stage 3 can begin.

  2. Oh, wow! Paspaley Group is awesome for providing the HDML 1321 with some stable housing. She sure looks a mess sitting there on land, and I bet it prevents companies from taking interest. I'm glad they saw her true value!

    1. Mostly just looking grubby from being underwater for a month. The damage that you see is all to superfluous parts that would need to be stripped off anyway to restore her to her original configuration, Paspaley have their own fleet so I'm sure that helped them to know just what sort of potential the old girl has.
